Project Description
The do-Dots open SDK brings developers a full set of classes that allow to build applications based on do-Dots, a framework for M2M communication.
It's developed in C#.


What do-Dots is

do-Dots is a M2M framework based on a common, readable and high level protocol. It helps to connect various and etherogeneous components and hardware together.

do-Dots is addressed to:
  • Small-sized but innovative hardware manufacturers who wish to have high connectivity quickly and easily.
  • Project developers and System Integrators who wish to minimize time and effort needed to deliver functioning systems.
  • Remote services and control suppliers.
  • Home automation systems manufacturers.
  • Vending machines and leisure machines manufacturers.
  • Multimedia systems manufacturers.
  • Robots and special vehicles manufacturers.
  • Hobbysts and DIY automation enthusiasts.

A do-Dots network is built around a Broker (which is a commercial component not available in this open project). A do-Dots application can be written in any programming language, although it can parse JSON syntax and send/receive packets via TCP sockets.

This do-Dots open .NET SDK project aims to bring developers a full set of classes that allow to build .NET applications based on do-Dots. It's developed in C#.
